Claws & Paws was founded on one simple truth: pets are family.
Whether you’re a veteran with a service animal, a parent facing unexpected hardship, or a shelter overwhelmed by abandoned litters—we’re here to help. Our mission is to provide temporary financial relief for pet food, cover spay/neuter and vet costs for unwanted animals, and support shelters working tirelessly to protect the voiceless.
We don’t just talk about compassion. We fund it.
What We Do:
Support for Service Animals
We provide financial assistance for food, supplies, and basic care for certified service animals whose handlers are facing temporary hardship.
Emergency Pet Food Relief
Families who’ve lost a job, suffered injury, or are temporarily unable to afford pet food can apply for short-term support—so they don’t have to surrender their beloved companions.
Spay/Neuter & Adoption Funding
We help cover the cost of spaying/neutering pets for families who’ve taken in unwanted litters, and we assist shelters with vetting and adoption expenses to reduce euthanasia and abandonment.
Why This Matters:
We are heartbroken by the rising number of pets abandoned, dumped, or surrendered due to financial strain.
Litters left in dumpsters. Cats dropped off at farms. Dogs tied to shelter gates. These are not isolated incidents—they’re systemic failures. Claws & Paws exists to intervene before surrender becomes the only option.
